The Joint Commission standards deal with organization quality, safety-of-care issues and the safety of the environment in which care is provided. If you have concerns about your care, we would like to hear from you. You may contact us directly here.

VAISEF, the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Education Facilities, is an association of Virginia private providers of specialized education and services for children and youth with special needs, and their families.

Cognia accreditation represents the unified policies and procedures for accreditation and certification from its Accreditation Divisions:

  • North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI)
  • Northwest Accreditation Commission (NWAC)
  • Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI)
  • NCA CASI, SACS CASI, and NWAC comprise three of the six regionally recognized K-12 accrediting bodies and together have been accrediting institutions for 125 years.
